We pride ourselves on being constantly available to residents and their parents. To that end, we have developed an online communications portal that allows students, parents, and our team members to communicate easily and effectively. We provide unique usernames and passwords that will allow you to submit work orders, pay your rent online, and email our community team directly with any questions or concerns you may have.
We strive to meet all types of student housing needs by offering various accommodation types with flexible payment options – allowing students to focus on study, not money. Our various housing options and programs to help ease the burden of college living near SDSU. Our roommate-matching program helps to build community and friendships by bringing students with similar interests together.
We want to make every transition into our communities as smooth as possible! That’s why we’ve developed a custom-matched roommate program to help students meet new people and surround themselves with like-minded individuals. Every student will be asked to fill out a detailed profile card that includes pertinent information such as hobbies, interests, living habits, and study habits. We then use these cards to ensure each resident is matched with fellow students who complement their ideal living experience.
Our Resident Advisor Program provides mentors that have been thoroughly trained on how to handle and recognize crisis situations and assist with roommate mediation. The program also helps students develop essential skills needed for their future academic and professional pursuits. Any student interested in becoming a resident advisor can visit their community office and complete an application. Resident advisors are eligible for great benefits! Our roommate mediation services and personal development programs will foster your student's growth and success at school and into the future.
We are committed to sustainability. Our informative “Living Green” blog provides useful information on energy efficient products and conservation efforts. Students can continue to learn while we pursue our mission of utilizing resources that help preserve our environment.

I am new to off-campus housing. Can you tell me a little about it?
At Fifty Twenty-Five, we offer affordable student style living that is sure to meet all of your needs with individual leases, a 24 hour fitness facility, a study lounge with iMacs, a relaxing resort style pool, friendly on-site staff, monthly resident events, and so much more.
How far is the property from campus?
Fifty Twenty-Five is less than half a mile from San Diego State University. Our community is also in close proximity to San Diego Mesa College, Grossmont Cuyamaca Colege, City College, UCSD, University of San Diego, The Art Institute, Miramar, and National University.
Do you have to be an SDSU student?
No! In fact, Fifty Twenty-Five is conveniently located near I-8 with easy access to Grossmont College and San Diego Mesa College.
Since you’re not on campus, how do residents get to campus?
We have our own shuttle service that transports students to SDSU on a schedule Monday through Friday. We also have a scheduled shuttle that travels to Mesa and Grossmont Monday through Thursday. You can avoid the high cost of a campus parking permit by living with us!
I do not have any roommates in mind. Do you offer roommate matching?
Absolutely! Every student is unique, so please be sure to fill out a resident profile and we will match you with other students that have similar lifestyles to yours. We also offer social events where you can meet and match yourselves!
What is included in the rental installment?
All of our apartments come with a full range of kitchen appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave), a full size washer and dryer in each unit, property wide internet, on-site dumpsters, trash and recycling chutes, monthly pest control, on-site maintenance, gas and electricity with a per unit cap and water and sewer with a per unit cap. Access to our community events, pool, BBQs, tanning center, fitness center, and study rooms is also included.
Do you offer furniture?
Yes, we do have uniquely styled bedroom furniture available for an additional monthly charge.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at our community.
What safety measurements are in place? What type of security do you provide?
The health and well-being of our residents is our number one priority. Fifty Twenty-Five has an on-site courtesy patrol that is present every evening, 365 days of the year. We encourage all of our residents to report any suspicious activity and as always dial 911 for emergencies.
How do I pay the rent and when is it due?
Rent is due on the 1st day of each month. We have an easy online payment system that allows you to pay any time of the day using ACH from a checking or savings account, Debit and Credit Card. The name on the account must match the name on the bank account or card. You can avoid late fees by scheduling recurring monthly payments.
Can I pay for the entire school semester up front?
Do you provide on-site maintenance? How do we report any maintenance related issues?
Yes, we do have on-site maintenance Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Our online portal makes it easy to submit work requests online directly to our office team. We also provide a 24 hour emergency maintenance response service for emergencies that occur after-hours.
